Finally some colour.

Unfortunately with some mistakes. There is a great yellow hue on the sides of the frames, not on the first frame so much, but definitely on the others. Apparently, this is caused by the blue layer deteriorating. Hmm? Ever had that problem before?

Club Monaco

 

This is the last photo of the fancy storefront series, which never came to its full potential due to a poor choice of film. This is a former Club Monaco location in Toronto downtown on Bloor Street West. They are no longer in business and the former area of lush nature and life has been replaced with gray, empty walls and loneliness. What a great end for this project?

Mont Blanc

 

While editing these photos I am not happy I happened to choose this film for this project. The after effect would have been cool for something else. These strict architectural shots of storefronts are not the best selection. Anyway, I guess I have one last photo to post next time. But that doesn't mark the end of the red-hued photos.

One of the few building in Toronto I truly admire - just gorgeous. Pottery Barn on Bloor Street West.

I had always admired the architecture of these high-end stores in downtown Toronto, and was looking for a way how to connect this to a deeper meaning.

We had to take a break in our driving and sleep the night. So I arranged a stay at Tyler's, another kind CS, who offered his floor space for us. He also offered us oven baked potatoes and had a lovely dog. I should check how he is doing.

Eric

 

Eric was a kind man to host us in his beautiful apartment for few days. When we arrived we were taken to have a dinner at his parents house - what lovely people they were.

Before we left Winnipeg we went to see him in his office and shortly after we were picked up by another lovely Polish woman who drove us to Huntsville.

Great West.

Not much to say, but just another great building in Winnipeg.

And if you are thinking that Winnipeg is in West of Canada, you are wrong. It is the center of Canada.

"Nutty Club" - candies and nuts

 

The iconic Nutty Club's Can-D-Man is now an official part of Winnipeg's history.

The civic property and development committee agreed to place the Scott-Bathgate building at 149 Pioneer Ave. on the city's list of historical buildings.

Winnipeg the city of muddy water

 

The city is named after the nearby Lake Winnipeg; the name comes from the Western Cree words for muddy water.
